TODAY IN REGGAE - DANCEHALL HISTORY

1997: The last issue of the Japanese Reggae Magazine (No.59) is published. It features articles on Sly & Robbie.
2003: Singer Vic Taylor, Byron Lee and the Dragonaires lead singer, dies of cardiac arrest at Mercy Medical Centre in Rockville Centre, NY, at age 56.
2012: Club Jamaica, a reggae club of long standing at Nishiazabu, Tokyo since 1987, held their last dance.
