Aidonia to headline BRT weekend

Dubbed the ultimate destination day-party series, the promoters of the popular BRT Weekend appear to be upping the ante for the summer. Inspired by Caribbean culture, the uniquely themed all-inclusive event has now expanded to more than four locations. With several staging earlier in the year at exotic locales in Punta Cana (Dominica Republic) and Los Angeles (California), the three-day event is now set to invade the resort town of Atlantic City, New Jersey, early next month.

Top-flight entertainer Scheduled to be held between July 7 and 9, the much-publicised event has enlisted the services of top-flight entertainer Aidonia, adding even more star-power to their line-up. Aidonia is scheduled to perform on July 7. His inclusion comes after fellow entertainer Popcaan headlined Dominica Republic staging some months ago. Riding a wave of success in recent months with tracks like Banga, Trigger Work It and IG Girls, the 4th Genna boss is definitely looking forward to his performance next month.

"Aidonia is definitely looking forward to this engagement. BRT Weekend has become a staple on the social calendar, especially for Caribbean and North American nationals, and continues to grow with each staging. So this is a very important platform to connect with the fans. Therefore, they can expect nothing but the best when he hits the stage in Atlantic City," Aidonia's management team said in a statement. With a full roster of activities for the summer, the deejay is also expected to make stops in Atlanta and Connecticut before his appearance on Reggae Sumfest Dancehall Night at Catherine Hall, Montego Bay, next month. From there he will then turn his attention to Antigua before jetting off to Europe in August.
